About Paladin's Archives
Paladin's Archives is about more than just a name- it is a community of people, games, and the stories we tell together in a positive, relaxed, supportive environment. We are the current world record holders for longest continuous TTRPG game at 440.5 hours, stream games on Twitch, run community TTRPG games and events, and create content for you to enjoy as a player, game master, or viewer!
VISION
We want more than anything else in the world, to create great games and content for all people to enjoy. We want to create a space and community surrounded and enveloped with positivity, support, compassion, and fun. One day, we aspire to grow the community and Paladin’s Archives to the point of being able to establish jobs for people in gaming. We wish to use this space and this medium to also help people less fortunate and contribute in the happiness and wholistic health and value of life through games. We aim to change the world for the better and connect people together.
ABOUT PALADIN
Paladin is a full-time game master and owner of Paladin’s Archives. Game Mastering since 2011, he has organized the world record breaking marathon in December of 2022 playing Dungeon of the Mad Mage, runs several campaigns on Twitch, creates content on Youtube, writes TTRPG books, and has amassed many years of work and content in his personal library which he calls “The Archives”.
Before becoming a full-time dungeon master, paladin worked in the field of neuroscience. He worked in the neuroscience intensive care unit in the biggest hospital in Dallas (Parkland). He was a neuroscience educator and a member of the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses where he was on a board to create the national certification courses and book study materials for the CNRN and SCRN examinations that nurses take to earn those certifications to prove their expertise in neuroscience and stroke.
Paladin is a very down to earth, easy to get along with, and has a strong will to help improve the world through gaming with a heart full of love and compassion for others. He always sees the best in in others, creates an atmosphere of growth and positivity, and he strives to make the world a better place where he can. One of the things that Paladin loves most about Dungeons and Dragons is its ability to bring people together and experience very deep connections and feelings through the nuances of collective story telling– being able to feel sadness, happiness, loss, and personal growth through a simulated gaming roleplaying environment that pushes the limit of what can be imagined and experienced to the core of one’s being. He also loves being a goofy goober Game Master with silly voices (sometimes even using throat whistling to get super high pitch voices) and lots of puns.
